Having studied and qualified as a teacher in the UK Amanda went on to teach Business Studies, Law, ICT and Economics at a state school in London, teaching at all levels but focusing upon Years 10-13. She became the Head of Vocational Education at this school, introducing and managing courses across many faculties. In addition Amanda helped to train new teachers and worked with providers setting up vocational courses and quality assurance systems.
From there she moved to the south ofSpainwith her family, where she continued teaching her previous subject areas as well as becoming the Exams Officer and Head of Sixth Form at another British Curriculum international school. Subsequently she returned to theUK, to work at a selective grammar school as the Head of Business andEnterprise, where she won an award as Enterprise Teacher of the Year (SW).
However, the lure ofSpainproved too great and Amanda came back to us in 2008, with her family, where she took up her current position as Head of Secondary.
