Keystage 2

At BSB we use many different teaching strategies with the children working individually, co-operatively in small or large groups, and at times as a whole class.  In addition to the Literacy and Numeracy Frameworks, once again all subjects of the National Curriculum are taught through a creative theme-based approach.  All subjects of the National Curriculum provide opportunities to promote pupils´ moral, social and cultural development.

Pupils are encouraged to learn, practise, combine, develop and refine a wide range of skills in their work.  There are six key skills which enable pupils to improve their learning and performance in education, work and life:

• Application of Number
• Information Technology
• Working with others
• Improving own learning and performance
• Problem solving
