Mathematics

Students embarking on the Maths AS or A level course are expected to have attained grade B or above at GCSE level.

In year 12 pupils study 3 units: C1 & C2 (Pure Mathematics) and M1 (Mechanics) or S1 (Statistics). In the summer the students sit one exam in C1, one exam in C2 and one in M1 or S1.

In the second year (year13) pupils follow the A level course which consists of 3 units: C3 & C4 (Pure Mathematics) and S1 (Statistics) or M1 (Mechanics).
