The school year began with a warm welcome to nearly 100 new students and our brand new building, which marks another phase in the process of growth and expansion in the BSB.

The new site built next to our main building, has been specially designed to house children from Nursery, Reception and Primary Years 1 and 2. Each years has now three classes.

Key reforms were also made to the existing building in order to have more space for the Secondary area with new Science laboratories and staff rooms. There is more space now in the dining room and a bigger kitchen. The main reception and administration areas have also been been refurbished.

This year The British School has a new director, Dr Josep González. Prior to his appointment, he held a number of different positions at prestigious independent schools such as Charterhouse (Surrey), St Paul’s (London) and Eton College (Windsor) as well as at university level.

The school has hired new teachers and assistants for this school year, bringing the total number of staff close to one hundred.
