The new BSB Inter House Sports Competition is well underway!

Our new Inter House Sports competitions have had a fantastic impact immediately within BSB. Both Schools (Castelldefels and Sitges) have started their own programmes of House activities with Wednesday afternoons being given to weekly Inter House sports events.

The first Inter House sports event was Dodgeball, students from Years 3 all the way through to Year 10 competed in a schedule of 4 weeks, each Year group having one Wednesday to compete. Each House team plays the other 3 and are split into 3 categories to ensure fair play and the right type of competition for the individual. In addition, the events are led by our Year 11 and Year 12 Sports Leaders, both in the Primary and Secondary schools.

“The values of BSB are maintained and focused on throughout, with parents commenting on how well the students interact and play in the correct way and students participating with 100%”, Mr Cross, BSB Director of Sport and PE, said.

After the new House System launch event taking place 16th November (a fantastic Tug of War which students enjoyed so much), we are now focussing on Tag and Touch Rugby (Tag Rugby in the Primary School and Touch Rugby in the Secondary). Contact Rugby is played on Tuesday in our After-School Club.
