BSB Compete in Inter-School Mini-Athletics

On Saturday,11th February, nine Year 1, 2 and 3 pupils from BSB represented the school and themselves in a Castelldefels ‘Jocs Escolars’ Mini-Athletics event hosted at Can Vinader Sports Stadium.

Mr Jonathan Cross, Head of Learning Sports at BSB Sitges and Castelldefels, reports on the event:

“Boys and Girls from around the area came to compete in fun athletics oriented activities, with each pupil receiving points for their abilities in each of the stations. The stations included: speed races, obstacle races, javelin’ and ‘hammer’ throws, and a long jump.

All of the pupils and parents had a fantastic time, with lots of smiles, making new friends and working together really well.

This was the first time that BSB Sitges and BSB Castelldefels pupils had come together in a sports competition. It was great to see how well they all supported, competed each other and strengthened the existing bonds.”
