Y7, 8, 9 and a couple of Y10 boys and girls competed on the school behalf in the event made up of the American School of Barcelona, The Benjamin Franklin International School and the SEK International schools. The event was a great success with some fantastic skills and teamwork on show, largely from the BSB teams that were clear winners in both u11 and u13 girls and boys categories.
Ms Manley and Mr Cross were both immensely proud of the performances and to be leading on this NEW school-focused change in sport. Mr Cross, BSB Director of Sport and PE, said, ‘It’s a huge shift in culture that we are undertaking here that will benefit all of our students. Initially, yes, we are focusing on more established sports such as Basketball and Football, but as we are always looking forward and there is every opportunity to add sports such as Rugby, Swimming and Athletics to mention a few to this fantastic development.’
We look forward to more students being involved in our new School Sports Teams from September!
