Most Prestigious Spanish Universities At BSB Fair

For the ninth year in a row, BSB will hold its Annual Spanish University Fair on 31st January at the Castelldefels campus.

The day will bring together 26 of the most prestigious universities in Spain with the goal of providing information to the Pre-University students and their families about their educational offerings, entrance requirements and application processes for various undergraduate courses.

The event will begin at 2pm and all of our Pre-University students, as well as those from other international schools of Barcelona, are invited to attend. During the fair, attendees will be able to visit the stands of the participating universities and talk with admissions representatives from each to get individualised information that can help them in the search and selection of their university degrees.

The participating universities and centres for higher education to the 9th Edition of the Annual Spanish University Fair are: Blanquerna – Universitat Ramon Llull, CETT – Universitat de Barcelona, EAE Business School, ESADE (URL), ESCP Europe Business School, Escuela Europea de Diseño (IED), ESERP Business School, European University, Instituto de Empresa (IE), IQS (URL), La Salle (URL), Les Roches, The Ostelea Barcelona (EAE y Universitat de Lleida), Universidad de Navarra, Universidad Europea, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), HTSI-URL, Escuela Universitaria Salessians de Sarrià (EUSS) – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Escola Universitaria de Disseny (ESDI), Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), Swiss Education Group (SEG), Hult International Business School, TBS Barcelona (Toulouse Business School) and Harbour Space University .

In 2017, between students and family members there were nearly 300 attendees. Mrs. Consol Fernández, Technical Director of the Spanish Department at BSB, and organiser of the event, expects an even higher turnout this year ‘thanks to the department’s excellent results. The fact that 100% of the students that sat the Selectivitat exam in 2017 passed (six of whom scoring over 9.2 points) and were accepted into their first university choice speaks to the excellent health of this choice in higher education among our student body. The university offering in Spain is superb and at BSB we promote a wealth of guidance activities that help our students take the best decisions for their professional future.’

The Spanish University Fair is one of the key components of the Pre-University mentoring programme at The British School of Barcelona, along with the Annual British and European University Fair (April 2018) and presentations by universities and centres for higher education invited throughout the year.
