Year 6 Warhol and Kusama competed in a carousel of activities which included many games that they have previously taken part in during PE lessons. It was clear that the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the event particularly participating in the much-loved capture the flag, dodgeball and handball related activities.
Mr McLachlan, EYFS & Primary PE and Sport Specialist, said: “The children were a credit to the BSB Sitges at the event and their behaviour was impeccable. I am delighted to have established this new partnership with local schools in the Sitges community and will ensure that we take part in all events organised by the council going forwards.” He added: “We are very lucky to have a number of very talented athletes at the BSB Sitges and it is great to give them further opportunities for them to showcase their skills and perhaps even more importantly integrate into the local Sitges community”.
Logan, pupil in Year 6 Kusama, said, “We all thoroughly enjoyed the event and I cannot wait for the handball tournament in the Summer.”
Enjoyment, teamwork, networking, skills development… What else can we ask for?
