BSB Year 6 Transition Activities Start on Castelldefels Beach

On Wednesday, 18th April, the whole of Year 6 from both BSB Sitges and Castelldefels campuses came together to complete team games on Castelldefels beach. The afternoon was designed so that students would have a chance to work with the other people who will be moving up to Year 7 with them in September and was a good opportunity for them to get to know each other before the traditional end-of-Primary residential trip to the UK at the end of May.

The tasks were challenging and involved team-work and planning to succeed. The most popular challenge was definitely the obstacle race, followed by a frantic dig for the buried treasure – although one group couldn’t find theirs and no doubt there were a few trips down to the beach after school to hunt for the missing Haribo!

The students behaved impeccably whilst out in the community and really embraced the chance to learn outdoors in a different way. Ms Manley and Mr Jansà worked hard to plan a busy and exciting afternoon, which left everyone tired, but with some good memories and hopefully some new friends too. Mission accomplished!
