Cognita establishes new communication channels with the UNED to consolidate the application process of international students to Spanish universities.
Fidelma Murphy, Educational Advisor of Cognita Spain, together with the team of “technical directors” (directores técnicos) José Martínez (ELIS Villamartin), Toni Marín (ELIS Murcia) and Consol Fernández (BSB), met with Oscar Vila, Vice-Chancellor in charge of university applications in the UNED (Faculty of Education, Madrid) to formalise the relationship between both entities and to create new communication channels.
The role of the “technical director” as an interlocutor between the UNED, other university authorities and the different schools in the Cognita group has been key during the last 4 years in order to define clear and concise information that guarantees both a general understanding of the process as well as making sure that appropriate advice is given during the application process of international students to Spanish universities.
In this sense, Oscar Vila mentioned two important facts: the new improvements incorporated in the system, which simplify and provide transparency to the exams review process; and his interest in bringing about consistency in the admission criteria for all the Spanish universities.
