For the last few years a highlight of the Career’s Advice calendar has been the annual “What Next?” event, which sees parents, friends and BSB Alumni invited to speak to students of Year 12 about their various career pathways.
This year the event was held at BSB Nexus, the international british Barcelona Pre-University campus, and saw presentations on a wide range of career choices from law to computing to psychology to journalism. There was even a talk from a UK civil servant working in the cabinet office. Pupils were hugely positive in their response and very appreciative of the advice and guidance given. Likewise, guest speakers highlighted the students’ engagement in their future beyond school and their clever conversation.
