Last week, no less than 111 students from Year 5 to Year 10 of The British School of Barcelona campuses (BSB Castelldefels and BSB Sitges) took part in the annual ski trip to La Cerdanya organised by the international school of Barcelona in February.
Our children love it, as evidenced by the spectacular rise in participants compared to previous years!
This annual ski trip is a highlight in our school calendar at BSB School, since it offers the children the unique opportunity to spend time with students of different ages, learn from one another and strengthen links among the school’s community. The children also improve their physical skills in the ski slopes while they enjoy some days away from the british school and build on their relationship with teachers they will have in the future. For BSB Sitges children, it also means they get to meet the students they will work with in Castelldefels in Secondary and Pre-University.
Apart from the usual snow activities, The British School of Barcelona students were also able to enjoy the hotel’s brilliant facilities, the games and activities organised by the teachers throughout this five-day trip and, of course, the beautiful landscape of this privileged area of the Catalan Pyrenees, which offered excellent conditions for skiing and enjoying several outdoor activities.
The teachers gave the students’ progress and the group’s conduct and behaviour very positive feedback.
Next stop: Residentials!
