BSB girls excel at BISA Basketball Tournament

On Friday, 22nd November, four teams from The British School of Barcelona took part in the BISA Basketball Tournament hosted by the American School of Barcelona.

BSB students performed to the highest level and showed themselves as respectable and respectful athletes who performed with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. The U14 and U18 boys came 3rd in their categories whilst the U16s came 2nd and the U18 girls won the whole competition, outclassing every team in their division and winning most of their games by an average of 30 points.

Miss Clayden, BSB Secondary PE Teacher, was so impressed with all involved and appreciated the students committment to their teams and positivity. “They were a credit to the school and made me, and the whole accompanying teaching staff (Miss Lashbrook, Mr Jansà and Miss Martínez) extremely proud. Thank you to all the students, staff and parents for joining us for the wonderful day of competition¨
