On Thursday, 25th March, Jordi March, Spanish teacher of Secondary and Pre-University at The British School of Barcelona, was invited to participate in the radio programme Recursos Homínids to talk about our Careers and Futures Guidance programme at BSB Nexus.
Led by Lluís Freixes on Ràdio 4 RTVE, the programme highlighted the recent studies that show that 56% of Pre-University students don’t know what they want to do in the future when they graduate from school. In light of this, the presenter was interested in learning more about the Careers & Futures Guidance programme that we have been running for years at BSB Nexus for our Pre-University students.
Jordi explained what tools we offer students at BSB within this programme and pointed out the importance of the one-to-one support available to facilitate the decision-making process from the very beginning of Year 12. Clearly, the task of our dedicated University and Career Counsellors becomes more relevant than ever to help fill the gap between school and adult life.
