The BSB STEAM Camp is a new holiday camp organised in partnership with IGNITE Serious Play, an expert company in technological activities. Students develop new STEAM skills through engaging in creative projects based on a given topic, which varies every year. They work with several ‘MAKER’ tools such as Robotics, Programming, 3D Design and Virtual/Augmented Reality. The project is carried out for 4 days, morning and afternoon (9.00 to 17.00) with lunch included.

BSB STEAM Camp offers students a unique opportunity to design and develop projects using the Design Thinking method. By working with different tools, such as robotics, coding, 3D and virtual/augmented reality, children will develop their digital skills in a full technological immersion process of project designing.

Participants will build and program several robot prototypes, symbolizing the selected topic for the Camp. They will work in small project groups based on their interests. Students will enjoy the entire learning process, through team collaboration and idea-sharing based on technology, from the initial idea and sketch to the staging on the last day.

Following the scientific method, the main goal of the BSB STEAM Camp is to foster active construction and guided discovery to bring students’ ideas to life.

The BSB STEAM Camp is run in collaboration with IGNITE Serious Play, a company specialised in new STEAM and educational skills. IGNITE organises workshops following the LEGO@SERIOUSPLAY methodology in schools all over Europe. Training is led by a team of interdisciplinary professionals from both the technology and educational management fields.
