🗣️ Every great debate starts with a great communicator.

💬 At BSB, developing confident communicators is at the heart of our ‘BSB Speaks’ programme. Alongside public speaking and presentation skills, students learn how to debate with confidence, think critically and communicate their ideas with clarity and respect.

🎓 Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to put these skills into practice through initiatives such as MUN (Model United Nations), the HMCE Debate Competition, the Lliga de Debats, and many other classroom and inter-school experiences.

🤝 Debating at BSB is about more than winning an argument. Students learn to analyse different perspectives, build evidence-based arguments, listen actively, work as a team and respond thoughtfully—all while demonstrating respect, empathy and confidence.

🎤 These are lifelong skills that prepare our students to become articulate, open-minded and globally aware citizens.

📚 As we count down to the start of the 2026–27 school year, we`re looking back at some of our favourite classroom moments from last year.

🖌️ Here are our Year 1 students—now getting ready to begin Year 2 at BSB Sitges—immersed in an Arts lesson, where imagination, colour and self-expression came to life.

🌈 Painting is about so much more than creating beautiful artwork. It nurtures creativity, develops fine motor skills, builds confidence and provides a mindful, calming space where children can relax, focus and express themselves.
