This June, our BSB Nexus students celebrated their Year 13 Graduation at Jardí de les Palmeres, marking the end of their BSB journey surrounded by the families, friends, and teachers who have supported them every step of the way.

✨ Whether graduating with the IBDP or A Levels, the ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of resilience, ambition, friendship, and growth. Inspiring speeches from Head of Year 13 Rod Musson and Director of Nexus Sarah Baines, together with moving student speeches and beautiful musical performances, made the occasion truly memorable.

📖 Following the ceremony, graduates gathered with their loved ones to sign yearbooks, share memories, and enjoy one final celebration together as a cohort—reflecting on the experiences, challenges, and lifelong friendships that have shaped their time at BSB.

🌿✨ There’s no better classroom than the great outdoors.

🏕️ To round off the school year, our Key Stage 3 students across BSB City and BSB Castelldefels headed off on unforgettable residential trips across Catalonia, creating memories that will last a lifetime while developing confidence, independence and teamwork.

🐴 Year 7 enjoyed outdoor adventures in La Cerdanya, including horse riding and archery. 🌲 Year 8 embraced nature in Prades through exciting team-building challenges and hikes, while 🌊 Year 9 travelled to the Costa Brava for action-packed water sports.

💙 These experiences gave our students the opportunity to strengthen friendships, connect with nature, challenge themselves and grow in ways that simply can`t be replicated in the classroom.

☀️ Summer is finally here, but we`re still looking back at some of our favourite end-of-year moments!

⚽ One of the highlights was the BSB Castelldefels Primary Girls` Football Tournament, where our talented players showcased their teamwork, determination and love for the game.

🙌 The Girls` Football Club is open to students in Years 5 and 6 and it offers weekly sessions designed to help them develop their football skills, build confidence and strengthen teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

🌟 At BSB, our Sport for all approach encourages every pupil to enjoy physical activity as part of their everyday school experience, with opportunities embedded throughout the day whether it’s PE lessons, lunchtime clubs or extracurricular activities.

🇩🇪 History, bikes, iconic landmarks... and a water park? Year 10`s trip to Berlin had it all.

📍 Designed to bring history to life, the itinerary took students through the places that have shaped Berlin into the city it is today. From the Brandenburg Gate and the Bundestag to the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial and the former Stasi prison, every stop offered a deeper understanding of Germany`s past and present—plus the chance to put their German skills into practice.

🚴 Alongside immersive museums and a Cold War bike tour, students experienced Berlin`s unique culture before finishing the trip with a well-earned day at Tropical Islands Water Park. The perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year, combining learning, adventure and unforgettable memories.
