Getting to and from school, safely and comfortably
The British School of Barcelona offers a reliable school transport service with professional drivers and monitors and a well-maintained fleet of vehicles to bring students safely and promptly to and from school.
For children, the journey to and from school in the school bus is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends from different classes or ages. For parents, it’s less time-consuming and helps decrease the additional traffic (and pollution) around the school grounds.
Next to where you live
We currently operate fifteen regular routes, plus three shuttles, covering most of the areas where the nearly four hundred pupils who use the service to travel to school live.
Different bus routes are available for each of our campuses. These are reviewed annually to meet the needs of families requiring the service.

A convenient late shuttle
For those students taking part in after-school activities at BSB Castelldefels / BSB Nexus, we also operate late shuttles from Castelldefels to Barcelona and to Sitges / Vilanova i la Geltrú.
These buses depart at 18.15h Monday to Thursday.
BatOnRoute Bus Tracker App
In 2023, and following a successful pilot programme during the 2022/23 Summer Term with a group of families, we introduced the BatOnRoute Bus Tracker app, a tool that facilitates the geolocation and real-time tracking of school bus users along the route.
Thanks to this state-of-the-art application, we have transformed bus transport, providing students and their families with a smooth and safe experience, ensuring that school journeys are more reliable and smarter.
