Physical activity is a key part of the Early Years learning. Through daily outdoor play, climbing, balancing and movement circuits, children develop strength, coordination and confidence while building healthy habits for life.

🔬 Step inside our labs!

🧪 Our Year 10 students at BSB City have been getting hands-on as they prepare for their IGCSEs. The focus is on mastering essential lab techniques — including how to correctly use a burette and pipette to carry out a titration.

📚 A titration is a practical experiment used to determine the exact concentration of a solution by carefully adding one liquid to another until a precise chemical reaction takes place. It’s all about accuracy, patience, and precision.

🌟 Academic rigour, practical skills, and personalised pathways — all part of the BSB experience.

🌍 Learning beyond the classroom with BSB Sitges

🐧 Year 1 visited the zoo as part of their learning about animals — what they eat and where they live. With a special focus on penguins, inspired by The Lost and Found, the trip helped bring together their Science and English learning in a meaningful, memorable way.

🚂 Meanwhile, Year 2 explored the Railway Museum in Vilanova as part of their topic on innovation and engineering. Linking to their Science learning on materials, students discovered how trains — and transport — have evolved over time.

🎭 Carnival at BSB was full of community spirit — even with the gloomy weather!

🌈 🌧️ Due to the rain, some parades have been postponed, but in smaller groups, several year groups were still able to enjoy the day and take part in the celebrations.

🎶 At BSB Sitges, we were delighted to welcome once again the Sitges Town Carnival Troupe, filling our patio with music, warmth, and joy.

🏅 Across BSB City and BSB Castelldefels, many of our students dressed up in sporty Olympic outfits, while our younger learners in Castelldefels embraced the magical theme of Dreams, letting their imaginations run free.

❄️ This week, it was the turn of our Year 5 super skiers to hit the slopes in the Spanish Pyrenees, following in the footsteps of Year 6.

💙 Students from our BSB Sitges, BSB Castelldefels, and BSB City campuses came together, building friendships and making unforgettable memories in this wintery setting.

🌟 As our final Primary ski trip comes to an end, we’re so proud of the resilience, determination, and positivity our children showed every single day. They challenged themselves, supported one another, and never gave up - a true reflection of our BSB culture.

🌍 Trips like these help our students grow in confidence, independence, and wellbeing, while staying active and exploring the world. From Spain to Paris, Berlin, Norway, and Brussels, our learners continue to embrace every opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.

🎙️ Two of our BSB Nexus Seven Steps Leaders visited Radio Castelldefels to explain the meaning and purpose behind our ‘Seven Steps Emotional Intelligence for Life’ programme, sharing their own testimonials and experiences as Rainbow Leaders, alongside BSB Educational Psychologist Marga Sardà.

🧠 At BSB, emotional intelligence goes beyond lessons — it’s a daily practice that helps students understand their emotions, support others, and grow with confidence, assertiveness and empathy.

🌈 Guided by our Wellbeing & Student Support Department, our Sixth Form Seven Steps Leaders model positive behaviour and actively support younger students, strengthening our school community.
