Havent rebut l'acreditació «d'Excel·lent en totes les categories» a la nostra darrera inspecció, ens enorgulleix oferir una educació internacional de qualitat i prestigi reconegut a estudiants de dos a divuit anys.
Els resultats acadèmics són fonamentals, i l'alumnat de BSB obté qualificacions excepcionals, cosa que els permet accedir a les millors universitats tant a Espanya com a la resta del món. No obstant això, per prosperar en un món en constant evolució, els/les joves necessiten alguna cosa més que bones notes. Han de desenvolupar les habilitats i atributs necessaris en un món on molts llocs de treball estaran automatitzats, i les qualitats més «humanes», com la creativitat, la curiositat i la col·laboració, seran altament valorades.
L’escola també ha de ser un lloc on gaudir. A BSB, oferim un entorn enriquidor on els/les joves es poden desenvolupar plenament i afrontar cada repte amb confiança i seguretat.

The British School of Barcelona manté el seu estatus com a «Excel·lent en totes les categories» després de la inspecció que British Schools Overseas va fer de l'escola l'octubre de 2024. Es tracta del més alt reconeixement que pot rebre una escola internacional, cosa que ens situa entre les millors escoles britàniques del món.
La inspecció de British Schools Overseas està acreditada pel Govern Britànic i som l'única escola de Barcelona amb aquest distintiu de qualitat.

🌿 History comes to life at Forest School! 🪨🔥
🌳 This term, our Year 3 students at BSB City are taking their inquiry, From the Stone Age to the Iron Age, into Barcelona’s parks, exploring their local surroundings while deepening their understanding of prehistoric life.
🪨 Through hands-on experiences, students are discovering how people lived, used tools and adapted over time, while developing their own creativity through natural-pigment cave paintings and Stone Age-inspired drawings.

💙 Happy GLOBAL BE WELL DAY!
🏃♀️ Today, BSB joins more than 90 @CognitaSchools around the world for the 8th Global Be Well Day, celebrating this year’s theme: Physical Activity! Because when we move, we thrive. 💪
🌟 At BSB, Global Be Well Day grew into a whole week of movement and wellbeing, with students across our campuses getting active through assemblies, energetic break times, active lessons, sports and movement challenges.
👟 At BSB Castelldefels, Secondary students started the day by clocking up an incredible 1,500 laps around the Rugby Pitch, covering 600 km in total! That’s enough to virtually reach @ColegioMeres in Asturias, or travel from BSB Castelldefels to BSB City and back 12 times! They ended the day on a high with a spectacular showcase of performances for our annual GBWD House Song, bringing students together through music, creativity and a healthy dose of House spirit.
🧘♀️ At BSB Sitges and BSB Maresme, the week wrapped up with whole-school yoga sessions, while BSB City hosted a Motion Around the World Showcase. Across the week, students also enjoyed flashmob dances, a whole-school aerobics warm-up and much more!
🎥 Some of our older BSB City students also helped lead the day, creating a fun social media video interviewing students and staff about ‘deskercise’ which you can watch in our Instagram page!
💙 We’re proud to see our whole community moving, connecting and thriving together, while taking time to look after both our physical and emotional wellbeing.

🏆 Our Peripatetic Music students across BSB have been celebrating fantastic results in their ABRSM and Rockschool examinations!
🌟 Across all campuses and disciplines, in the 2025/26 school year our students achieved an impressive 8 Distinctions, 32 Merits and 25 Passes.
🎵 These results reflect the dedication, talent and passion our students bring to their musical learning, supported by our team of expert Peripatetic Music teachers.

Today, our enrichment programme returns to BSB Castelldefels & BSB Nexus, with even more opportunities for students in Years 7 to 13 to develop new skills and discover what inspires them.
✨ This year, students can choose from 58 lunchtime clubs across four areas: Creative & Performing Arts, Leadership & Community, Communication & Global Citizenship, and STEM & Innovation. Some favourites include Robotics, Model United Nations, Medical Society, Rock Orchestra and The Whole School Musical, and much more, so there’s something for everyone.

🤝 This week, we welcomed families to our Meet the Tutors events, an important opportunity to connect, share and begin the year with a strong partnership between home and school.
🌱 Tutors play a key role in students’ personal development, wellbeing and individual progress. As students move through Secondary, their tutor moves with them, building a strong relationship and getting to know them as individuals. This continuity is especially valuable at key transition points, such as Year 7 and Year 12, when students enter a new stage, take on greater independence and benefit from new forms of guidance and coaching.
🏠 Working closely with families is an essential part of this journey. By keeping communication open between home and school, we can work together to support each student every step of the way.
💙 It was lovely to see so many families with us this week, and we look forward to seeing you around school throughout the year, at the many educational and community events that bring our BSB community together.

The British School of Barcelona és l’única escola a Barcelona que ha rebut l’estatus «Excel·lent en Totes les Categories» en la inspecció de British School Overseas l’octubre de 2024. Aquest és el reconeixement més alt que pot rebre una escola britànica. El nostre model educatiu destaca per la qualitat de la nostra ensenyança, la nostra relació amb les famílies i els/les estudiants, i l’enfocament global del nostre projecte educatiu. El professorat altament qualificat, el currículum innovador i l’enfocament tant en l’èxit acadèmic com en el creixement personal creen un entorn d’aprenentatge dinàmic. A més, oferim dues rutes per a les qualificacions d’accés a la universitat: el Programa del Diploma del Batxillerat Internacional (IBDP) i els A Levels (complementats amb qualificacions espanyoles si és necessari). Ambdós són reconeguts i respectats internacionalment per les principals universitats del món.
Assegurem una atenció personalitzada, un aprenentatge efectiu i un entorn d’aula de suport per fomentar el creixement individual. La nostra ràtio mitjana varia segons l’etapa educativa.
Unir-se a BSB és un procés senzill i àgil. El nostre equip d’Admissions està aquí per orientar-te en cada pas del camí. Per començar, hauràs de complementar el formulari de sol·licitud online i proporcionar els informes escolars més recents de l’alumne, passaport/ID i referències (si s’escau). Això ens permet iniciar el procés d’admissió i assegurar-nos que podem satisfer les necessitats del teu fill / de la teva filla. Depenent de l’edat de l’alumne i l’any d’ingrés, us proposarem fer una avaluació informal o una entrevista per avaluar la seva competència en anglès. A més, l’alumne tindrà una entrevista amb el/la Director/a com a part del procés.
