We are proud to share that BSB City has been recognised as a Top 10 European Small Cohort IB School by Education Advisers Limited.

The British School of Barcelona campus has also been ranked the Top Small Cohort IB School in Catalonia, Top 3 in Spain, and 37th in the Global Small Cohort Ranking. This is an exceptional milestone for our first graduating BSB City IB Diploma cohort.

Impressive Academic Results
Our first group of IB Diploma graduates at BSB City achieved an average score of 34.4—nearly four points above the global average. Highlights include two students achieving an outstanding 43 points, and more than 50% of the cohort scoring above 38 points.

This includes one of our graduates securing a place to study Law at the University of Cambridge. Other destinations include King’s College London, the International University of Catalonia, and the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

These outstanding results reflect the ambition, hard work, and academic excellence of our students, who are now proud BSB Alumni pursuing their studies at top universities worldwide.

Nexus, a global Pre-University Experience
The BSB City IBDP achievements are complemented by the equally outstanding results of BSB Nexus students in Castelldefels. Students at the campus south of Barcelona also excelled across the two Pre-University pathways offered—A Levels and the IB Diploma Programme.

With one Highest Mark in the World and two Highest Marks in Spain, as well as places secured at prestigious universities such as Cambridge and Stanford, alongside leading universities in Spain and around the world, students from both campuses have demonstrated the strong position of our Pre-University programmes in the region.
