What a fantastic start to 2024 for The British School of Barcelona! We are thrilled to announce that our international school has been recognised as one of the top 100 schools in both Spain and Barcelona in Micole‘s 2024 ranking.

Several other Cognita Schools in Spain have been recognised by MiCole as well, alongside BSB. Hastings School in Madrid has also secured a spot as one of the Best 100 Schools in Spain, with several other Cognita schools in Spain earning recognition as well in the Top 100 Private Schools or Regional categories: Mirasur School in Pinto, Colegio Europeo de Madrid (CEM) in Las Rozas Madrid, El Limonar lnternational School Murcia, El Limonar lnternational School Villamartín in Alicante; British School of Valencia (BSV); and Colegio Internacional Meres in Asturias.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and excellence exhibited by our entire BSB Community – from students and staff to parents. Without all of you, this accomplishment would not have been possible. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our prospective families for their unwavering support and trust.

Micole’s ranking system is an automated process that considers various factors, including evaluations and reviews from families, impressions, and the overall online presence and traffic of the school on the platform. The number of requests for visits, attendance at Open Days, and the information provided by the school on the platform also contribute to the rankings.

Our recognition as a ‘Preferred by Families’ school aligns with the criteria used by Micole, reflecting the positive feedback and engagement from our school community. It is evident that our commitment to providing an outstanding educational experience has resonated with both current and prospective families. Most notably, our BSO accreditation as ‘Outstanding in every Category’ has not gone unnoticed.

Since its launch in February 2020, the platform helps more than four million families each year to find and compare over thirty thousand educational centres in Spain, streamlining the process of requesting a private visit, information, and attendance at Open Days with just one click.
