BSB Sponsors Real Club Golf El Prat’s 2nd Annual Futures Champion Tournament
As part of our partnership with the prestigious Real Club Golf El Prat (RCGP), The British School of Barcelona sponsored the Future Champions Opening Golf Tournament that marks the launch of the Club’s Junior School.
The Tournament took place on Sunday, 17th September with more than 30 “Future Champions” participating. Thanks to our sponsorship, junior and parent federated golfers at BSB were invited to join. As well as the tournament, there were also other parallel golf activities especially designed for our BSB Community by the Club, such as a Golf Clinic and a Mini-Augusta tournament, so it was a true family event.
BSB Acting Executive Principal, James Petrie, was in charge of awarding twelve cups to the winners, after delivering a compelling talk to the attendees about the values of leadership and determination, key values for both sports and academic excellence.
RCGP also arranged for a special menu for those families who wanted to stay for lunch at the amazing facilities of the Golf Club.
A Partnership to Benefit our BSB Community
This was a fantastic opportunity for our BSB Community to benefit from the expertise and facilities of this multi-award-winning Club, and a great launch of their Junior Golf School 2023-2024, aimed at children and young golfers from three to 21 years of age. More information can be found here.
We are delighted that more and more BSB families are able to enjoy exciting sports opportunities thanks to our partnership with renowned Clubs, such as RCGP. We will continue to build on these alliances to offer more activities for the whole BSB Community.
