Our partnership with the prestigious Real Club de Golf El Prat (RCGP) took The British School of Barcelona to sponsor our first ever Golf Tournament last Sunday!

 

The first “Future Champions Tournament by The British School of Barcelona” on Sunday 18th September marked the launch of the Junior School 2022-2023 of the Golf Club. Thanks to our sponsorship, we were able to invite our junior golfers at BSB to take part in this tournament, making a total of 50 participants on the day. BSB gave out 12 cups to the winners, including two special prizes: two fantastic Callaway golf bags for the two best 18 holes. The prize giving ceremony counted with the participation of the CEO of the Club, Ariana Martín Balet, BSB Business Manager, Dominik Anke, EY and Primary Headteacher at BSB Castelldefels, Emma Overton, and Casilda Guell, PhD, board member of the RCGP Club.

 

On the same day, all BSB parents and staff were welcome to participate in two additional golf activities especially designed for the BSB Community by the Club: a 3-Hole Competition for federated golfers and a Masterclass for everyone to learn the basics of this fantastic sport or perfect their technique with the Club’s experts.

 

We are delighted that BSB families could enjoy such a festive atmosphere, with so many staying for a BSB special family lunch in one of the outdoor restaurants of the Golf Club.

 

A fantastic opportunity for our BSB Community to benefit from the expertise and facilities of this multi-award-winning Club, and a great launch of their Junior Golf School 2022-2023, which is aimed at children and young golfers from three to 21 years of age, and comprises a structure adapted to all levels, from initiation to competition.
